I can't hear a damn thing the minion is saying in the second video. In the news clip, I love that they say, "Listen again" and then bleep out the supposed swear.

Little Vicky never got enough credit as one of the all-time best one-off Simpsons characters. Almost wish they had kept her around. I think it was just Tress McNeill, right?

Those were popular when I was a kid. Am I really old enough to be a grandpa?

I'm going to have to call the dictionary company about that one.

You made it through all the IBS and Marlon Wayans, but you couldn't finish a charming throwback to '30s screwball comedies?

Oh, there were a ton of great films, but nothing anywhere near The Third Man.

While it's definitley not one of the Coens' best films, it's very much worthwhile (unlike The Ladykillers, which only completists should ever bother with).

I recently participated in a poll for the year 1949. I've seen around 60 feature films from the year, and nothing comes close to this one. But from the other films that were in competition that year that I have seen, this is what I think about them:

My 5 year old nephews were bitching about how old Despicable Me 2 was just the other day. I thought it was hilarious, but to them, yeah, that was half a lifetime ago.

Just try to flush a kid down the toilet. It doesn't work, let me tell you.

Frankly, that would make her a much better human being in the long run.

I don't know if I'd call it R&B, but I did love it. I actually liked it a lot better than their previous album, which is the one most of The A.V. Club went nuts for.
