That would just increase your heat signature!

Yes, that was the big problem with Spektor. A lot of her songs are very soft and intimate. It was only her on stage for most of the show with her piano. I also felt quite embarassed because I was probably the oldest one in the place by like 10 years. I didn't realize most of her fans were so young!

Back from Jurassic World. It's a pretty perfect summer blockbuster - very entertaining stuff that you forget the second you walk out of the theater.

No, I never played Other M. I had basically given up on the Wii at that point. I think it was Metroid Prime 3.

Yes, I know. I assume the others have real names outside of their adjectives, as well.

Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. When I saw Regina Spektor several years back, I couldn't hear her over the sea of 15 year old girls singing along. Nothing was worse than when I saw Cibo Matto last year and this one very loud woman decided to rap along to Miho, like, way louder than Miho herself.

I played a lot of the first Metroid that was released on the system, but I just got too tired of the way it worked to go on. I attempted to play Metroid Prime once but didn't get further than landing on Tallon IV.

Well, I was waiting for a friend to see Jurassic World and I had some interest in the film, though I had been told numerous times to skip it (or see it on video). I'm super glad I saw it in the theater.

I watched a good 75% of Dick Tracy a few months ago. It actually held up pretty well. It particularly looks great in HD.

I think the review here was a B-.

I tried playing it on the Wii and couldn't because I don't like having to hold the Wiimote in front of me the whole time (although I'm having a lot of trouble with the Gamecube controls, too).

The cover is amazing. It streams on Hulu.

No no no, this doesn't count! That's a magic squirrel!

Get Hulu Plus.

Supposedly they do have real names, too, because Splendid is referred to both as Splendid and Angharad. We just never learn Capable's real name.

That's awesome. I have to admit the second trailer makes me a little more interested in Pixels. I just can't imagine paying for an Adam Sandler movie, but every inch of Peter in that trailer (I don't think he utters a single line in either trailer) makes me more interested in it.

Hey, at least her character appeared in Dawn. She was listed in the credits of Tomorrowland and I'm pretty sure she wasn't in the film at all.

Dick Tracy and Gremlins 2 were released the same weekend. I clearly remember my aunt and her boyfriend taking me to both the same weekend.

I'll be seeing Jurassic World later today. I saw two films in the theater on Saturday, though. They are:
