I'm one who always despised cigarettes - I won't get within ten feet of someone who's smoking. I don't care whether it's killing the user or not, at least vaping isn't hurting me, even with its stench. I wholeheartedly approve of the practice.

I don't know about that version exactly, but the last time I played it on a console it was multiple choice.
I recently read Patricia Highsmith's Strangers on a Train, and the Hitchcock movie improves on it in every way.
I've heard the argument that the lover defenestration is good evidence for Gibson's homophobia many times. I think it's a bit silly - I mean, the dude is a mustache-twirling villain and, yes, it's amusing the way he kills the dude, but I don't think people in the theater were laughing 'cause the dude was gay. Eh,…
Agreed. At worst, a viewer will think it's true and be misinformed on a piece of obscure history that doesn't really matter anyway. At best, they'll get excited about history and read up on the real event (because everyone who's not a moron knows that historical movies are mostly bullshit anyway).
But he wanted hotels on the moon, and that's just silly.
I really enjoyed the terribleness of Battlefield Earth the one time I watched it.
I only finally caught up with Basic Instinct a few years back. It's not much better than Showgirls, honestly.
But he was a totally outrageous paradigm!
I have to admit it's a big guilty pleasure for me. Around the time it came out, I was getting dragged to country bars once in a while (because several members of my family were huge into line dancing competition - can we expunge that shit from my memories?), and I liked to play that song on the jukebox because it…
They filmed some of Road Rules at a racetrack I was at one night. They filmed my brother talking to some of the contestants (were they contestants? I don't even know if I ever watched the show), and I think, at least he told me 'cause I never watched it, that he was visible in a shot.
Dear God came out in 1996, so it doesn't warrant a mention here!
I remember the video store had a big label on it that said "NOT A CARTOON. FOR ADULTS ONLY!" because it had a drawing of the characters on it. I saw the film in the theater. I quite like it, and it never even got a proper DVD release (I own the DVD, but it's not anamorphic; I'd love to see Criterion get a hold of it,…
No way, man, it was a film of female empowerment!
I've been to Jordan before! Pretty area around there.
Did OJ have a Showgirls pennant? http://simpsonswiki.com/wik…
It was bringing to light the plague of invisible rapists.
Eh, some of those work and some of them don't. Sure, Showgirls was probably MEANT to be a satire, but it's a failure. It's just All About Eve with strippers.
I remember it sucking, but I bought it for like $3 on Blu Ray at one point. I haven't been brave enough to rewatch it since.
But it lost its charm after the monkey left, so to cancel it in 1995 would be fine.
