Yes, that is probably fair.
Yes, that is probably fair.
That's blatantly untrue. A lot of the classic Disney shorts are every bit as brilliant as Looney Tunes or what have you.
I'd say their influence on culture has been largely negative, though. They've created more idiotic libertarians than Ron Paul could in a lifetime.
Shut up, hooker!
NICE!
I'd rather have them streaming on Netflix or something.
I had to download the entire second season, and I'm not sure if I ever saw them all. The second season wasn't quite as good as the first, from what I recall, but it was a pretty great show.
I do wonder, though, when you go to Disneyworld now are there people in giant, foam Grunkle Stan constumes? Because that would really kick ass!
Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry were mostly theatrical shorts, so they probably do not qualify in that way.
I just watched the whole series for the second time. It has one of the most detailed fantasy universes I've ever seen in a television series, and its characters grow as the series progresses.
Nice one! I had forgotten that one existed, but it was really good. I would say almost certainly the best modern adaptation of Looney Tunes, that is if you discount Tiny Toon Adventures.
I'd probably put in a good word for Johnny Quest, but otherwise, you're correct.
I used to enjoy just listening to it, like it was old-timey radio, but I eventually found the animation endearing.
I always felt quite ashamed of myself whenever I would laugh at Drawn Together, which frankly wasn't that much.
It was a love note to those of us who grew up watching USA's Cartoon Express all through every summer.
A Le Baron!
Ugh, The Brothers Grunt was a major abomination. Eh, everyone has an off day.
It must be nice to have completely forgotten The Goode Family, huh?
Nah, Adventure Time is way better than Archer. Archer got boring after Season 3, pretty much repeating the same formulas. My thought on Adventure Time is usually, "Man, what are the kids who grew up on THIS going to create?" It really is a masterful series.
I have to say, though Pink and the Brain were the best of the Animaniacs characters, their stand-alone series kind of got boring after a while. It needed the other characters.
