In reply to #6, Tolkien has explained numerous times that orcs are extremely flatulent, so I see no problem there.

Top Secret is easily the equal of Airplane and the first two Naked Gun movies.

Dreams really is one of the best lesser known Bergmans. It has kind of a Fellini vibe.

Ever seen Mann's The Far Country? Set in Alaska.

This week I saw:

Also Parting Glances, Reservoir Dogs, Living in Oblivion, and, of course, Boardwalk Empire.

The last two episodes of the second season and that whole third season, I think, are about as masterful as television has ever been.

Kind of unlucky, though, since I discovered them in like August or something and they were here for their reunion tour in February.

I had thought for the last few years you had to have cable to stream on their website, but lately I've found ways around it (though you'll have some commercial breaks).

Macy really should have been in the Best Lead Actor category at the Oscars (pretty sure he had more screentime than MacDormand) so Buscemi could have slipped in as Best Supporting Actor. His is definitely the most memorable performance in the film.

The Ladykillers is more severely mediocre than outright bad. It's definitely a very misguided remake.

Oh, Jesus, Moral Orel. I think by the time it ends it's one of the best shows in the universe, but it would be hard to recommend to anyone. That first season is so juvenile it's really hard to believe it will grow into anything special. Not to mention only that first season is on DVD. Adult Swim really needs to stop

Yes!

Oh, absolutely, but at least he can string a sentence together here.

This is true. I've heard it from countless idiots who were not joking. But the posts explaining himself were literally right above (well, I guess you could have your comments section set otherwise, but most people don't).

I finally bought Neutral Milk Hotel's two albums in, I think, October, having only heard so many people talk them up over the years. They are fantastic.

The poster literally said he was kidding a good eight hours before you posted this, jackass.

But it's still the most positive - he's generally depicted as a fat, stupid man-child.

She had nothing!

Critics seem to have thought it was pretty mediocre, but can we admit that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have made some pretty great movies? Superbad, in my mind, is a classic and Pineapple Express and This Is the End aren't too far behind it. Of course, they also wrote Drillbit Taylor, The Green Hornet and The Watch,
