This band reminds me of Manassas. Remember them? No, of course not. You're too young. Well, I really like Dawes, great for lovers. And I don't mean (only) the 'kids.' What I see with this CD is this: after an exhausting and full of noise day at the beach, and after the kids are asleep, dreaming of sugarplums, Mom and

I remember walking into the cafe where I work and setting up my play list for the day. I was so psyched to be playing Dawes. I came back out to begin work and happened to notice that someone had come by the night before and left a bunch of fliers for their upcoming show. I stopped for a moment to look around. Was I

I assume there are other music loving nerds out there like me, always on the search for "the perfect album." Over time, the album becomes like an old friend. No matter how bush league your day is, you know you can rely on this album to brighten you up. You give your copy to a friend, so you can buy the deluxe edition

soul-searchingly about the heartbeats of our lives: wanderlust and home,
loss, love, longing, and the

This is a group of musicians that not only are in complete and totaly
sync with each other, but they also know how to get to the heart of
their listener. Flawless harmonies, warm sounds of the organ, and
Taylor's sweet melodic voice

Im literally crying. Why did i not know this happened? I can't breath. Best moment of my life. pure perfection. Life is complete.

They truly have the whole package. Well-written music, energy, tremendous vocal harmonies…. and heart. Deep in your deepest soul kind of heart.

Incredibly beautifully magically splendidly wonderfully balanced sound ! All instrumentation was "featured" the entire song without show-boating, obnoxious displays, & pretense. Each member is a musician who handled his part of this song expertly, deftly, & with levels of expression found only in the best most

The sheer amount of EPIC contained in these few seconds is one of the best things I've ever heard in my life. The harmonics… it tingles.

the instrumental complexity and beauty of what's going on toward the end of this song makes me want to cry. This band is incredible.
