Yeah I get that guys think it's funny, but it comes off as is a bunch of dudes patting each other on the back for their own total inability to take (lesbian) women's desires/discomforts seriously. It makes the AV Club into kind of an ugly unfriendly place sometimes.

Ugh so many of the comments here are so gross. But I loved the movie. Saw it a week ago and it hasn't left my mind for a moment since.

Millenium Actress is a solid pick, and I'm more than happy to admit she has been in bad projects. But it's still an annoying comment to make about someone who's been notably good in high profile projects aimed at women.

Ugh you're annoying. Your favorite movie is probably something boring and expected like Drive. She's been flat outstanding in several good films. Pride And Prejudice and An Education come to mind. She was the best part of both.

If she were really going to NYU, she would be white.

@avclub-e57dbebc740250d2c4a370cf6ccb35f0:disqus I actually loled at "her janked weave". My Little Pony has better hair than Emma.

Go ahead Arya. Stick Emma with the pointy end.

Missed ogling Regina, but fortunately there was a hot pirate with hot pirate chest hair and a hot pirate accent to make up for it. And the reward for my pain was no Henry or Emma, AKA the greatest reward this show can offer. So yeah, I'm inclined to agree.

Regina would be a pretty natural Tess, no? Reincarnated Daniel as Angel Clare, dumping his fallen boo for her indiscretions.

As it should be.

Why do you watch this show if you think that it's acceptable to say "fuck a lot of the female viewers"?

I'm thinking Kalinda's mini-flashback to the sex was supposed to clear the question of her desire for Nick for the audience. But even if that wasn't there, we spent too much time with them in that bedroom listening to Nick say gross things about how Kalinda wants him for it not to be in line with what the show wants

It also didn't help that Kalinda had more chemistry with the dog lady than she did with Nick. Still have high hopes for the show and the season though. The rest of the episode was VERY promising, and a lot of the Kalinda stuff seemed like it was geared to ratchet up excitement for the new season as opposed to things
