I'll just add something here about how much unexpected fun I had with
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine. Simple, lengthy
carnage-tastic campaign and stupid fun multiplayer.

Good call on going with "disappointing" rather than "worst". I'm going with inFamous 2. The first one was a cool open-world platformer with character progression, story, and smooth controls. The "newness" of it really hid the grind and repetition of the missions, a luxury that the second one didn't have - weariness…
Yep - there was never any level on par with, say, the Hong Kong level from the first game, and the general open-world-ness kind of feel was distinctly missing from the second half on. I actually liked the conversation puzzles (and still think they should have been implemented as a possible alternative path through…
Deus Ex was as close to awesome as I played all year, flaws and all. I loved me some Skyrim and L.A. Noire, but DX:HR was the game that kept me up too late at night doing multiple playthroughs. Part of that is an affection for the original, but credit to Eidos Montreal for getting the big stuff (and a lot of the…
I'm unreasonably excited for this movie. Loved the first movie and liked the third very much. I like to think the Limp Bizkit installment was never made.
"So it's Transformers minus coherent story structure."
I have no good reason to see this movie, and I must scream.
Interested to hear what you think of THS - of the Karla trilogy, it was my least favorite, as there's not enough Smiley. It ends pretty well though.
Alright, I'll admit it; "Fuck! I'm Richard Marx" made me laugh.
For some reason, in my house on every Easter we watch Jaws. I have no explanation for this.
I always took that to mean that Kramer had written the book "Astonishing Tales of the Sea", which to me is hilarious - he's been quietly authoring books across the hallway the whole time!
Another fun fact: Davy Jones was so popular that another David Jones ended up changing his name to avoid confusion. He settled on "David Bowie".
Yeah, given the cast I'd expect nothing less - thanks!
Speaking of Cumberbatch, has anyone seen Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy? He's supposed to be quite good in that as well. Can't wait for it to get over here to the States.
DO NOT THINK OF THE EVENT!
Based on the above photo, Patrick Macnee has not aged well at all.
Tremendous point.
Honestly, I'm a complete Blade Runner geek, and even with Scott helming or overseeing anything BR, I kind of just want them to leave it alone, all of it. The perfect moments, the dazzling imagery, the flaws (real and imagined) —- everything. Just leave it alone and let it be. Plenty of us enjoy it as it is.
Rockford Files, The Jeffersons, and Fringe all have top-notch opening themes.
This album is too loaded with memories for me to evaluate it objectively - I'll just say that it was one of the defining albums for high school for me, and the first U2 album that I actually "enjoyed" as opposed to "put up with just to get to the songs all the girls liked".
