O
Great list, but Lost is bad.

Batman Begins…oh eh, we give it away…oh eh
This film was fundamentally pretty poor. It went in a good direction with an attempt at a smarter, more realistic type of Batman film, but failed in this. There was a high level of bullshit.
The thoughtful pace gave way to a run-of-the-mill blockbuster ending as if it

Phone-booth
is a very good film. The premise was lived up to with a very good script and good acting.

Evil
Very good film. The premise is a very interesting one, and it is told smartly and well. It is a little indulgent I think in that Erik kicks the shit out of everyone. Good film says good things about teenage life and how to live.

The part of this film where people cheer on Maggie because they think she's Irish
Which is some serious bullshit. It was a fair point that there a lot of people who pretend to be Irish or like Irish people. However,
1. there wouldn't be enough of them at a random boxing match,
2. they wouldn't be wearing stereotypical

Ya, to follow right up on that, good point.
Very good film.

Test
Let the battle line be drawn: The majority of muppets who think Avatar is good, or want to think that not to disagree with others and the hype, Versus The minority for whom it is blatantly just another Extremely unorignial shitfest.

The Film
This film isn't that good. It deals poorly with subjects of poor countries, corruption an intervention. It is done in a cliched way. There are good bits in the film, but I thought it was fundamentally bad.

I loved
the way the story was told with so much plain attention, intelligence and honesty, this being mostly down to the director I suppose. The most obviuos example of this were the scenes from different perspectives being so exquisitely well done.
My sister hated this film, so it's not for everyone. Was it because

Just saw it myself and thougt is very good. Won't say it's not as good as people say, but I don't see it. Out

First Paragraph Above
That's a good insight that a lot of comedy goes for non-contextual gags that aren't that good, as opposed to bigger situational comedy that has a longer pay-off in humour. I wonder, not that this will be read by many, is the more important point that much the either type can be done well or

Three Stars
This was a good film.
It wasn't gritty as one would think it would be from the plot being about a boy imprisoned by the Japanese during WW2.
The story meanders rather randomly, in a good way I thought.
I found it annoying that the boy, Jim, seemed to great at everything. Fine if he's a wiz and cool, but not
