What is this, PARKS AND RECREATION?
What is this, PARKS AND RECREATION?
It could potentially dethrone GIRLS eventually, I guess, but it would take a huge misstep by that show to relinquish its stranglehold on the title, even if GF is literally perfect every week.
A surrogate mother that allows him to act out his deeply repressed Oedipal complex?
Not sure if you are watching this on cable or other means, but there's the chance that it will be put OnDemand early. "Boss Mabel" has been up there for two weeks I think. I've watched it about five times, as I have with all episodes of GRAVITY FALLS. Truly the (second) best show on the picture box.
In reference to the constant predictions that any Dwight-centric episodes involving his cohorts is the repurposed pilot for the Dwight spin-off that Adams seems to be searching for, my guess is that next week's episode, which Wikipedia has listed as being called "The Farm," is almost certainly the re-purposed pilot…
Yeah, from the second he opened his mouth it sounded a lot more like Brent than the Michael we last saw.
Glaser is great; however, of all the Jamm episodes he is most wasted here. He has like three lines. Granted, two of them are great, but seemed like a huge missed opportunity for him.
Has autism, children with autism. Person-first language seems like something Leslie Knope would be all about.
What! I didn't know this was in Philly. Bummer, I definitely would have gone. Did I just miss my Archer news update when it was first announced or something?
FAMILY GUY should be ROBOT CHICKEN, because ROBOT CHICKEN is basically FAMILY GUY without actually taking any time to pretend that it's a TV show with characters and plot and stuff.
When you begin a sentence with the phrase "On Donald Glover's last mixtape" you already know something has gone horribly wrong.
I mean it's not really fair to put THE WIRE on a list of the best dramas currently airing. Feel like HOMELAND at its best in Season 2 is far better than anything on BB ever (not tough, most shows are. Remove the sustained rush of BB and there's not much of interest there) and on the same level as the most recent…
I'll believe this is his last theatrical feature when he stops having theatrical features. He's a Hell of a filmmaker, but Soderbergh threatens to retire more often than Jay-Z. He'll probably have another film out by the end of the year.
So far found the first couple of episodes to be pretty good, but it also seems like it's trying way too hard to be 'the next big drama' without really doing much of interest on its own. I think we can agree, regardless of what one thinks of the shows, that (in no qualitative order) Mad Men, Homeland, and Breaking Bad…
That is a pretty dank alleyway.
Don't forget about GIBBY as well, or is that not happening anymore?
Cat was great early on for the reasons you mention. She wasn't completely stupid, just way more out there. She became more and more of a one-note cartoon character as the show went on, to her and its detriment. I don't think the actress who plays Trina is terrible, but she's nothing special either. She was in that…
The girl in that episode is now a supporting character/co-lead on a Disney Channel series.
I think Robbie and Trina are the best characters. But they are made in to jokes a lot. Trina, as far as I remember, never turned the corner, but there were earlier moments in the show's run where Robbie almost stopped being a joke, I guess.
Yeah, I 'get' why they used AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY as a name to drop, but aside from the shifting house (and maybe some of the plays on words, though that's more a staple of all theatre) I didn't get a huge A:OC vibe. I mean I guess it was a sprawling family drama, but it didn't really have the time to be sprawling.…
