Agreed. I think it's second only to cool dad indie pop as genre definer in terms of hilarity. Or bedroom pop, I guess, but people keep telling me that's a real thing.

Isn't Spotify the more encouraged alternative than Youtube for "sometimes people listen to it freely and /then/ buy it" line of reasoning since artists still make some kind of money from Spotify?

I agree. There are some standouts, but I found myself much more taken by even something like Bobby Womack's latest over this one. I never really fell in love with The Weeknd last year either, but reading a bunch of reviews and listening to Channel Orange make me appreciate what The Weeknd do so much more.

I felt like Wilfred wasn't trying to make Ryan a better person, at times that's a side effect, but mostly he's just using Ryan to get what he wants. Even when Ryan seems like he's the one using Wilfred, it almost always turns out that Wilfred is way ahead of him.

Man, next to Cut Copy's incredible outpouring of festival ending emotion, EMA had the best set of last year's Fest.

Ah, that makes more sense then, especially considering when it airs and the lack of promotion it gets. Like how they handled airing LIFE WITH DEREK. The babysitter was on a recent arc of episodes of ANT FARM, which threw me for a loop.

It's not as overtly dark or myth heavy (not yet anyhow, and the cartoon realm seems to imply that it will stay zany when it can), but this is the closest thing that Disney's made to SO WEIRD in ages, and that can only be good.

Not sure about Generation X, but I think we can all agree that PROJECT X is the greatest thing ever created.

I'm a little upset about the reset button quality (partially because I chain watched Season 1 all day in order to catch up) but visually the episode seemed to ooze confidence that only flashed at times in season one. To me that was the most encouraging aspect. Wilfred also seems to have a little in common with Lost I…

Yeah, pretty surprised about this since all the ads I had seen implied it would be starting next week with Louie. I was planning on spreading Wilfred out over a week or something to catch up since I missed the first season and after seeing some of the original series's episodes thought I would give it a shot. Three…
