The worst part is the time between when the President is elected and when they're sworn in. The only news to speak of is how their election is going to affect . . . the NEXT election! It literally never ends.

Was about to reply negatively, remembered that Trump is polling high again. Carry on.
It just goes to show how far out of your way you have to go to not snag Trump with something. Katie Couric was barely even trying with Sarah Palin, who, God help us, at least had some political experience and was not a crazed 1 percenter. Her gentle bemusement looks positively charming compared to the rampant fascism…
All those folks range from decent to very good imo, but they haven't had a real heavy hitting cast (or even cast member) since that huge exodus a couple of seasons ago. Maybe even before Samberg left. Say what you will about Kristen Wiig — I happen to like her quite a bit, but either way — her years look like a damn…
Same! On both points!
Desperation definitely went this way, too. Yeah yeah, the kid's Jesus or has Jesus powers or whatever, we get it Stephen.
I'll jump on this
It's better than if it was on 11/22. I wonder if they considered dropping the trailer then; it's just a few days after all.
At least "time is a flat circle" doesn't obnoxiously use an SAT word.
I liked the cloak and dagger, hidden identity stuff. Plus as I remember Sadie was a pretty cool character, so I wouldn't mind that middle part being adapted and the Derry stuff getting cut.
They could have a great support group.
I definitely agree. However, I'd be willing to compromise (as someone else suggested) that usage of the Force shouldn't be measurable, but predisposition can be.
I may have been projecting my feelings about one of the writers in the actual article suggesting that explicitly onto your comment, sorry. And I could see that, but I'd argue there are three categories: "this actor is completely replaceable," "this actor could be replaced by a few people," and "this actor is…
If you're going to replace a male actor in the prequels with a female actor, I think it'd be much wiser to start with, say, just about anyone else than Neeson . . . I was about to suggest replacing Ewan MacGregor with a woman, but I realized that wouldn't really work.
It was the predecessor to the assistant's death in "Jurassic World"
For some reason, I always felt that the title "Count" is so badass that it kind of balances out "Dooku." But it wouldn't work otherwise. Like, if someone walked onto a scene, and Obi-Wan was like, "Pleased to see you again. Hey everyone, this is Jimmy Dooku!" that would be different.
LUKE: "They're coming in too fast!"
Those kinds of movies are probably going to transition more to VoD releases, unfortunately
I admit I don't know MUCH about X-Men, but . . . Never kill "anyone?" Really?
Even when I was a kid, I never felt invested in things that happened before the original trilogy. I'm not opposed to prequels in concept but for Star Wars it really felt like just about anything that happened before couldn't have the significance that the events of the OT did. So I get that.
