Holy shit, @avclub-0304234e5dac07d007cf06c22b3f29c4:disqus , speak for yourself. Maybe all the men you know have been socialized to be like that, but it's in no way inherent and it's fucking misandry to presume such onto all of us.

Dinklage is cool and funny but he's always struck me as a pretty low-energy kind of guy. I don't think it would work. Great hosts like Timberlake or Waltz or McCarthy even all bring tons of exuberance and enthusiasm to the stage, which he really doesn't.

So nine paragraphs and I have no idea who or what kind of character Marton Csokas is actually playing or what the show is about.

I think that this is entirely an effect of varying levels of dirt and armour on the guy.

I can reasonably say that she is pretty rad. The clock /may/ have been a bit of a group effort, but I know that she did some of it and decorated the box it came in (inside the box were also a skateboard and a dozen or so bags of doritos {Saskatchewan is a strange place I am not making any of this up} ).

I know Tatiana! She once made a novelty clock that I now own. Glad she's apparently great in this.

Look guys, I know this post probably won't get much attention since I'm just shilling for something else, but if you really want to show off some really sweet indie cred, there's this other kickstarter I want to draw your attention to. It's only asking for 3.75% of what Rob Thomas is asking, it's actually for a kind

If that is as un-attractive as JT can look… Fuck he's pretty.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond. But I'm still really bemused. Even in the middling town I grew up in in the middle of Saskatchewan the Latino community (mostly Filipino along with handfuls of expatriates from places like El Salvador and Chile) was big enough for people in it, if they so chose, to speak

"The group of friends is a cosmopolitan cluster that would not exist anywhere else except an American city: Most of their races are either unidentified or unimportant. Most speak Spanish. There is one white girl." Probability that the author has never been in a city outside America approaching 1.

Contagion 2: Electric Booger-flu

I'm a Canadian and I have a confederate flag in my room. It's because I'm not from your country so I don't give a fuck about its symbolism to Americans, I just like the style of it.

One thing I kind of like about Homeland is that, in spite of the fact that it's just one example of the enormously popular genre of fiction that spans from Call of Duty to Independence Day to The Manchurian Candidate to Red Dawn and 24 geared to Americans afraid that maybe karma does exist and some day someone will do

Really?

Really?

There are just so many goddamn inexplicable plot points from this season that ultimately didn't come together to be anything interesting. Brody's baffling search for the co-ordinates in the little red book? Dana's hit-and-run? Mike's Hardy boys investigation - which ended in him magically divining that Brody shot Tom

Showtime really likes blowing up its angry macho black men in the second season.
