I'm usually too busy to actually watch the Emmys (or Grammys, or Oscars, or Tonys, or Golden Globes, or Ace Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, etc. etc. etc. etc. blllleeaaaahhh!) I used to, back when I didn't have a life that required working, eating or sleeping, but now I find these shows usually

More music I haven't heard of…
Maybe I'm just old, but why do I always feel like Paul Lynde's character in "Bye Bye Birdie" when I read columns on music in the AV Club? (Just the fact I've referenced Bye Bye Birdie should give you an idea of my age. I'm not really THAT old, but I'm pretty close). For someone who loves

Can't come too soon. I didn't realiize it at the time, but Pearl Jam had the right idea when they quit creating music videos back in 1992. They knew the medium was nothing but a scam, and that MTV was likely going to kill the very thing that gave it a reason to exist in the first place.

It's about time!
I was wondering when this flop was going to make it into this feature! I remember watching it in the theater (which is a big deal for me, I usually watch stuff on video anymore) with a date that I really REALLY wanted to get in bed with. The movie sucked, and I didn't get laid.
