I think another part of the issue (not about a black James Bond specifically) is that with Superman there is so many years of good material that they can use, so we really don't need to see him fight General Zod *again.* The complaint I feel is that these characters have been Hollywoodized, which is not exactly a

What's "The Watchmen?"

Also sonics.

So, a TV version of Gotham Central?

Mummies.

No kidding. It seems odd that Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, and now this all have the same grade. I for one thought that Iron Man was superior by far to Man of Steel, and I have a feeling this will fall somewhere in the middle.

See what excites me about this move is that for better or for worse they are trying something new. Just like we always want Hollywood to do. Sure, it's different from the book but that was never going to happen. But the formula of five to ten racial diverse caricatures hiding out in a basement somewhere before

Will there be more rules?

Wasn't it an article here that said technology in Hollywood movies will always be 20 years behind where it should be, because Hollywood writers/producers are mostly in their 40s or 50s and so think of technology as what it was when they were younger?

I wouldn't call it gritty but there are at least 12 very gruesome murders, usually depicted off-screen though.

No. There is no ass of any kind.

I saw it last night and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Sure the main characters had the personalities of cinder blocks, but the secondary characters were interesting and the giants were legitimately dangerous threats. It was tightly plotted and never boring. Sure, I probably wouldn't recommend throwing down $12 for

DEATH TO SURFACERS!

Two direct hits!

They actually explain why in the comics: Defense. The zombies provide a wall and an early warning system against any attack from other humans.
