I'm still waiting for the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS spin-off featuring Riggins and Street based on that episode where they travel to NYC. Episodic excursions to Brooklyn, drop-ins by FNL characters, Street and Riggins getting down on their luck and turning into Ratso Rizzo and Joe from MIDNIGHT COWBOY … the possibilities…

There's part of me that hopes this happens just so I can call DirecTV customer service and threaten to cancel my service because TEEN MOM has been taken away.

All of those bands could only have existed in the era that they did, because they were all capable of putting together one barely passable single/video that convinced a decent amount of kids to drop $18 on their album. Prior to the '90s, people would have just bought the single, and in the MP3 era, everyone would…

A Facebook contact ocasionally apends links to articles about religious extremists with early NIN lyrics and I always think, "you know, I'm guessing Trent's probably a little embarassed by those at this point."

Pretty much anything Ricky Gervais has done in the last five years. That critique of religion in THE INVENTION OF LYING just turned my life upside down, man. I'd never really considered that people fear death and might come up with explanations about what comes after death in order to provide them false comfort. …
