That's good to hear. I ordered The Thin Red Line on (criterion) blu-ray earlier today, I'm really looking forward to it.

I have a question for the Terrence Malick fans out there: how would you rank his films from most conventional and plot-driven, to most abstract?
This episode felt like the closest this show has come to The Thick of It. All the chaos and flip-flopping decisions especially reminded me of the episode "Spinners and Losers", when the PM steps down and everyone is frantically trying to figure out where that leaves them.

Why does face blindness keep showing up in the tv/movies I watch!? First Arrested Development, then Hannibal, and now Before Midnight. I didn't notice it the first time (because the new AD hadn't come out yet), but I went to see Before Midnight again today, and one of the characters in Jesse's "people with different…

Look! There on the roof, is that what I think it is? No! It can't be! It most likely isn't!
It's The Improbable Giant Cat!
I got caught up on it a couple months ago. It may not be the best show on television or anything, but it's definitely entertaining, and it looks fantastic (the millions of dollars they put into each episode really shows).
The first one had Lizzy Caplan, and now this one has Gillian Jacobs. Those bastards really know how to make sure I see their movie.
I actually thought the same thing the first time I saw Kids in the Hall, so it's an understandable mistake.
Wow, well I didn't click on that link until after I had written a whole post about how great Matt Berry is. Since you already mentioned him, I'll keep this short, but he's fantastic in The Mighty Boosh, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, and especially Snuff Box.
I just saw Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing and I liked it a lot (I'd give it an A-).

Well the mayor we just elected here in Los Angeles is named Garcetti.
I did a double take the first time I saw a huge "Garcetti for Mayor" billboard on the side of the road.
You're not the only one. I saw it yesterday and actually had a lot of fun. As you said, its full of plot holes (I actually had a good time afterwards just picking the movie apart with my friends) and I wouldn't exactly call it a good movie, but sometimes you just need an enjoyable escape for 2 hours, and I think it…
I completely agree with these, especially #2. I used to be all for concept episodes, even during the back half of season 3, but after last season, I really just want something more grounded now.

It also currently has a 99 on Metacritic right now, based on 17 reviews. I saw it last week, and it totally deserves that score.
I agree that the twist was really obvious, but I don't think it detracted from the movie at all. I agree with Narrator that it was much more interesting (and entertaining) because of the twist.
