"Secret dogs!"

As it happens, today's month and day coincide numerically with my expulsion from a uterus.
I've made a few impulse purchases of Criterion Blu-Rays, so it's been a good one.

I just got back from seeing Before Midnight. If that doesn't end up being my favorite movie of the year, I'll be very surprised. It was fantastic.

If they skip to the fall, wouldn't that mean the rest of the study group would have already graduated? I feel like they wouldn't just skip over that.

It was definitely my favorite of the second half of this season, and maybe even my favorite of all of season 7.

To all you Person of Interest fans out there, I have a couple questions.

I haven't listened to Trouble Will Find Me yet, but the answer is yes. I would suggest working your way backward through their albums. Listen to High Violet, then Boxer, then Alligator, and so on.

I made the terrible, terrible mistake of watching the pilot right before that episode, just in case it was the series finale, since that's a tradition I have.

Troy and Abed gone foreeeever :(

The way I see it is that unlike the other episodes, which have frequently upset me with everyone acting out of character (Annie's foot rub….ugh), if anything like that happens during the flashbacks it won't be as big of a deal, because that's not who the characters are now. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself.

what kind of bourbon was it?
I'm sipping on some now, watching the latest episode of Rectify, and things couldn't get much better. Bourbon is the best.

Saying that these guys don't accept outsiders is completely incorrect.
I started making the occasional comment on the DEP review last summer, and I always felt like I could join the conversation whenever I wanted to.

Actually, you already don't know what's going on, you just don't realize it yet. But soon you will have no idea what is going on, and you will be very aware of it.

Is anyone else watching Rectify? I've really liked the first three episodes.
That being said, I think Hannibal is still my favorite new show at this point

He came in to a class I had and at one point mentioned that he collects old Hitchcock movie posters. Also, I think he actually works in Hitchcock's old office, I remember him saying something about that.

Velma: How long have you been standing there?
Fred: Don't try that, you know the concept of time confuses me.

Dave (Gruber) Allen was also in a season 1 episode, if I remember correctly.
