I saw one sketch on Madtv that I thought was funny. It was the sporanos edited for basic cable, cut so much that it was difficult to tell what was happening. That was funny, but mainly because of the editing.

The main problem with SNL is that most of their sketches rely on one joke repeated during the sketh and then that sketch repeated.
