She was hilarious in Lost in Translation.
Despite all detractors
Bob Odenkirk is AWESOME. I hope David's Situation airs and becomes a hit so that there can be more visible collaboration between Bob and David.
GGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEZZZZ, 'ratloz , you scored the ultimate firsties.
"no no no, don't listen to your brain; listen to ME."
Meet the Spartans. Epic Movie.

JMC wins debate
Not the debate tonight maybe, but he wins debate, like my mother learned computers, and I get jokes.
Quixote is awesome. And VERY funny.
The book was first translated in whole into english 12 years ago, so it really hasn't had much of a chance to become regarded as it should. The only thing I can remember in the book being musty are some of the corpses.
SPOILER ALERT: A the end, the voice admits it was a wrong number all along and hangs up. Then Shia cuts off Minnie Driver's head with a table saw.
I read all of Chandler's novels earlier this year. Very consistently great and quick reads. And I don't think Marlowe is too cynical (or chandler). I really love the 60-70 year old slang.
HEY-O!
Oh, another
Confederacy of Dunces: completely perfect for the AVClub crowd (not the dunces part but the self-congratulatory holier-than-thou nerd part, which I concede includes myself).
Most unbelievable?
Goron on L&O: CI. Every week this guy is an expert on something new: 19th Century Russian carpentry, insect larva, Silver Age DC comics.
My recommendation
The Manuscript Found in Saragossa by Jan Potocki. The story (and multiple frame stories) in the book are awesome and all over the place. For a book that was published in 1815, there is way group sex than I would have thought. The movie is ok, but the book is EPIC.
Hamburger America? The Members of the Hamburger Club are gonna have their minds blown!
Pep-pep?
Sugarcube is one of the best videos ever.
