Harmon had said a few times that Britta was kind of the stand-in in terms of actually sharing his opinions, so yeah self loathing sounds about right.

I don't know what hand we're on anymore, but jesus Chinese Democracy was terrible.

@avclub-735dd629ab696e3a1bfcc0fe0d687bb1:disqus I am! even if I'll never pick up what people are reading, I absolutely try to read all AVC comments I can. It's a lot of work and for no immediately apparent reason, but I do feel like I learn a lot.

I'd rank it just a little better than the tolerability index. At least it's kind of a conversation?

I felt like it was coasting (I'm sick of seeing Zombies in media, it feels like something people tend to confuse for 'actual quality' (see also: Walking Dead)) and maybe stepping a little too close to Spaced's toes. I almost shut it off halfway through.

that's actually how I've always felt about community, apart from the big crazy episodes like Remedial Chaos Theory (which I am pretty sure, for me, is a height the show will never approach again).

it is physically and emotionally impossible for me to miss Chang.

if I knew the first thing about sports, I would absolutely love this.

I think giving it an F would be "this is not only the worst episode ever, but it's the worst episode they will EVER DO", so a C- isn't all that bad (I was expecting worse). Also, letter rankings don't matter! it was quite freeing once I realized it.

Same. It drives me fucking BANANAS.

Very curious about why exactly next week's community is so terrible. I definitely can't handle badly handled annie (which happened all the time even in harmon era), which I've heard is the main complaint, but last week's episode - while not terrible - kinda felt like me transitioning away from the show. I felt like I

report back to me after you've seen it! I'm curious as to what you'll make of it.

Get on with it and watch the first! It really is one of the best action films because it really does stay pretty close to a realistic scenario. The later movies get more into infallible Schwarzenegger protagonist territory, but the first is really, really cool. Very much the antithesis to what else was coming out at

when you do, I would LOVE to hear them (because I don't think I'll be seeing this)

don't the Planet Earth team spend like five years in almost complete silence, production-wise?

Fat Neil was wearing the glasses in the next scene. These new guys CARE.

holy shit I must see The Master.

I know, right? Threw up in my mouth a little just thinking about it.

Did we watch the same season 3? (To be fair, all I REALLY remember of S3 is Remedial Chaos Theory, which I have seen more times than probably any episode of any sitcom ever)

Me too. It's okay.
