Chris Martin is glad he didn't wear his Suede pants for the photoshoot.

I just dropped by my LCS during lunch break today, so I haven't had a chance to read this week's release yet. Glad to hear Rat Queens is bringing it. Can't wait to crack it open.

I thought it was OK, but I cringed at all the Canadian cliches - aboot, poutine, etc. I know Lemire is Canadian, but as a Canuck myself, it seemed pandering and obvious.

@AApple, at what point do you realize that it's not everyone else who has the problem?

I bailed on X-Men a couple of issues ago for the same reasons. Frustrating, because I like the idea of the women of X-Men having their own stories.

So glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks New Avengers is bullshit.

I think her nametag said "Jenny."

No, not lame at all. I guffawed.

Though in fairness, Wonder Woman saved Supes from an ass-whupping this week.

Thank you! I found the art in She Hulk infuriatingly inconsistent. Her body proportions were off, varying from one frame to the next, and the shape of her face kept changing.

That may be wise to keep the list from your wife, given your avatar.

My only question is why it took so long for someone to finally do this.

I'm up for a nude Carol Danvers.

Not as bad as fucking Onslaught, though. I found some trades of it at my library. Wow, did they suck.

I found Battle of the Atom to be a mess. So, like the current X-Men, who had just split between Wolverine and Cyclops, brought back some of the original X-Men, then some alternate future version X-Men showed up. The Jean Greys had a mental battle with one another, and then more X-Men from the future came. And then

Zero - Whoa. This story just got a lot bigger than simple spy missions. Like, apocalypse-level bigger. I love the rotating roster of artists, giving each issue its own look.

Thanks for the recco. I looked it up and it's apparently in the Confessions trade, which I started reading last night.

Marvel is currently running a cross-over story arc creating a whole new slate of Inhumans characters that will lead to a new Inhuman comic book in April. One of the theories is that because Marvel doesn't have the movie rights to X-Men, they're launching this so they can spin it off into movies and TV shows.

See, I thought it was weak in S/WW that WW's time in the issue was spent discussing her relationship with a friend, while Supes ended up grappling with Zod.

I can't put my finger on it, but Imagine Agents left me underwhelmed. Good artwork, though.
