I just can't believe FX advertised a goddamn Scion TC during the break of an Adam Reed show.

Pretty sure someone already mentioned this in the episode 1 comments, but a damn good motivation for Lana sticking around would be that her baby's donor-daddy is a fellow ISIS agent. My money is on Cyril, but making it look very much like Archer's first.

I was in the crowd for the stadium scene. I'd like to think that my 0.02% contribution pushed it from merely good to great in your eyes, but even after memorizing my seat location and pausing the Blu-Ray on a big HD TV, I can't really see myself. A man can dream, though. A man can dream…

So that base is totally a UFO buried under snow, right? And he needs Older Doctor Love Interest to pilot it or activate some sort of door.

That one is also one of my favorites, but I think the replicating pods one is the best.

6. The Love Below

I seem to remember from the comments section on the Pandora's Promise review that most of the interviewees turned out to be connected to a nuclear power advocacy group. I heard the movie basically ran like an ad for them. Does this movie go a similar route (or is that part of content cut from the American release)?

Wasn't one of the issues that the plant was due to be upgraded, but the old designs kept getting grandfathered in to avoid costly downtime? The backup power generators were what got taken out by the tsunami, whereas the upgraded design would have added passive safety features that would have rendered it moot.

Goddamn I loved The Greatest Generation. The last track is probably my favorite song of the year.

If we get Red Sox vs Braves in the finals I might actually cry.

RIP 2013 Orioles :(

I got a real Chrono Cross frozen ocean vibe from the Fry-and-Leela-wander-the-Earth montage. Beautiful, yet really sad.

I gave this episode the second-worst grade imaginable: an A-minus!

I've always wanted to see Bone, but not in the form Warner Bros is trying to make it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…. Ideally it could occupy an Adult Swim slot and be contemplative. Of course, given who holds the rights currently, that's a major pipe dream…

Yeah, about halfway through the Purpleberry skit it started feeling like an episode of Family Guy.

I was bothered by that as well. But way, way more bothered by Zack calling Dr. Oprheus "Morpheus".

Are you literally angry with rage?

Doc was cloned a bunch too as a kid? Maybe the Monarch and he were playing and Doc died, and the Monarch went insane with guilt, going off to live with butterflies. He could have repressed memories of the incident and seeing Doc again in college drove him over the edge.

I think the way they used him with Dean was actually fairly promising. Keeping a little bit of the innocent Dean around is pretty essential to his character, and of everyone in the Venture-verse, Sgt. Vatred seems like the only guy nurturing that.

Was it not Tom Sawyer?
