More people should be hit by planes. It's a little more unexpected…plausible? Who cares!

Dean really should have moved on by the end of season three, in my opinion. He was Rory's first boyfriend, the "safe" one, the dependable one. But it was clear it wasn't going to last 1) because it wasn't fascinating show-wise if they stayed together, but 2) he was a high school crush, but not a strong fit for Rory.

I've said this before, but this is my favorite episode of the show. It shows off the quirky and humorous lives of the people in Stars Hollow, the tricky nature of forging and retaining relationships, and of course, the comfort and dependence of the wonderful mother-daughter relationship that the show was built on. Regarding Liza Weil: She did such a wonderful job on this show. Even if I should have seen it coming, the slow transformation from competitive frustration, to grudging respect, and ultimately close friendship with Rory over the span of the first four seasons wasn't expected, but definitely earned and necessary. This episode is the cause of my inexplicable reason to play "Monster Mash" on any given holiday except Halloween. The funny—but also kind of sad—part is that no one understands why.

I've watched the entire series many times over the years and "They Shoot Gilmores" has remained my favorite episode since the first time I watched it. It's hilarious and quirky, but also important in dealing with the different relationships going on during this time. There's obviously the Jess-Rory-Dean conflict at

I'm staying at my mom's place in Houston for the week. She was out of town the entire weekend, which gave me ample time to eat, read, and wallow in my own crapulence without a care in the world.

There were only a few people in my showing of Hunger Games—everyone was lining up for the IMAX "experience"—so my uncontrollable laughter during the Breaking Dawn trailer was completely obnoxious and oh so gratifying.

I saw them when they came to Austin a while back and I enjoyed it immensely. I didn't have any regrets about it because seeing Mick Jones and Paul Simonon on the same stage with Damon Albarn while playing some of my favorite tracks was incredible. Bobby Womack was there too and "Cloud of Unknowing" was powerful live.

I'm pretty obsessed with Kerouac so I've read most of his works. My favorite was always Dharma Bums, but I think that's starting to change now that I've gone back and re-read his other works.
