Inception
Interestingly enough, I found a blog that discusses Inception more on a narrative level, focusing on the way it executes its own ideas.

Everyone I saw this with hated the van falling for 20 minutes. Then again, we unanimously agreed that the film was 30 minutes too long, and cutting the repeated shots of a van falling would have saved some time.
I have to back up the potential troll and admit that the Siberia scene, or wherever they were supposed to be, felt a hell of a lot like GI Joe.
Anyone else seen Blood Diamond? If anything, that's when I started to by into the Leo craze.
Seltaeb1, I had the exact same reaction. The book was rambling and boring. I struggled to get through it.
I just joined BookMooch, and I've never heard of PBS. I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip!
I am entirely serious, and I've already added Coetzee to my wishlist on BookMooch.
Coetzee
I've been meaning to read something by this guy. This will be my first.
White guys write. It's a hard truth, as I said. Honestly, I'm a literature major, I've got my English degree, and I'm hoping to be a writer. And guess what? I'm a white dude (despite my bad ass avatar).
The Beast of Rabin speaks a hard truth.
I missed Little, Big and Blood Meridian. I was hoping to hop on the 2010 bandwagon. Unfortunately, with the announcement of next year's selections, I no longer have the desire to hop.
ehhhh
I love the idea of a book club, but these selections are so bland I can't even drum up enough enthusiasm to check out the books. :-(
It's a sad truth, my friend. You're absolutely right.
Has anyone read the screenplay? It's a great piece of work, and Muldrow's thoughts come across clearly without the use of voice-over. It's definitely worth reading. If anyone's interested, here's a link to the screenplay.
Something about Clooney's presence fills my heart with warmth and comfort. I trust him as an actor, not necessarily to take on a different persona, but to deliver an enjoyable performance and make the movie fun.
Up in the Air?
Can't wait to see George Clooney in this.
Methinks you may have a point there. But it still looks interesting. I'm excited to see it.
Precious
Oscars anyone?
While the Washington Post guy was a bit harsh and may have missed the point, methinks he brought up a good point or two…
