Really? The fashions and such indicated the 00s to me. Clearly that's the least plausible thing in the movies.
Now that Bunheads is cancelled, Amy Sherman-Palladino should write that show. She can bring in Weil's Bunheads character too if they want. Going by reports from TIFF, doppelgangers are "in" right now.
Burning Love was great. The second and third seasons are better too. None of the new stuff is on that level.
I only heard of it because of some people on Twitter, and the writers being on the Nerdist Writers Panel podcast.

As a Potter nerd, my first thought on reading the "70 years before Harry's story" thing was if she means 70 years before the books (set in the '90s), or before the movies (set in the '00s).

For US import, Covert Affairs S4 starts on Really at 9PM. S3 was a big improvement, so hopefully it'll keep the quality up.

Kind of surprised by how much I enjoyed the Welcome to the Family pilot. Very pilot-y, and the climax is silly, but it's fairly charming, and I laughed a few times. Could have done without the final twist though.
I've been a fan since her time on L&O: Criminal Intent. I'm happy she's going to be in the new Sundance TV series too.
It's been 20 years and the theme song to The College Years is still stuck in my head.
