No, that's a few seasons away.
What an odd mistake for somebody to make about their own show…
I should finally get to it next week. The indie cinema here has it from next Sunday.
Yeah, IIRC, NBC commissioned a script from Katims a few years ago, but it was never filmed or anything.
Yeah, Melissa George dragged the first season down for me. I like her more now than I did at the time though, so I might rewatch. The Josh Charles/Embeth Davidtz story took a while for me to get into, but it worked well in the end.
Alex Hirsch has confirmed that Friday's Gravity Falls is the first half of the season finale: http://twitter.com/_AlexHir…
I think it got better as it went along, I enjoyed the last few quite a bit. Not essential, but a decent show that I'll be back for S2 of.
If people want more O'Dowd, Moone Boy, the sitcom he co-writes/co-stars in, starts on Hulu on Wednesday. http://www.hulu.com/moone-boy
Around. Protip: search for "venture bros s05e06"
I'd never heard of it until this exact moment, so… yes?
Just noticed that all of these except for I, Claudius have been remade in the last few years. Only a matter of time for that one I assume.
Some British mini-series:
The episode is online in places already. Won't spoil, but I think it's definitely the best of the season so far.
Though the Fearless Defenders one does tie-in to the main title somewhat, as it revealed some details about the book's villain.
Once it got about 40 minutes in, I got excited every time the screen went black to see what strange thing was going to happen next.
@avclub-f73c955e2c1f51451a682f5c1ce0e867:disqus I heard good things about Morning Glories, but when Spencer said he planned for it to run for 100+ issues, I decided against it. If I still hear good things when it finishes (in the 2020s some time, I suppose) I'll check it out then.
I just watched Down Terrace earlier. Not as good as his others, but a very decent first movie.
Batman 66 uses the digital format well, I don't know if it'll look as good in print. It does the same sort of transisitions/playing with the page as Thrillbent comics and Marvel Infinite, so I feel the print version would be missing something.
The only other thing I've really liked from Spencer is his excellent Jimmy Olsen story. I have Superior Foes in my pile to read.
