There are a load of talented people involved in Supanatural, which made me sad when I couldn't get through 10 minutes of it.

I'd watch it again, but it suffers due to giving over so much time for the music. There's no room for any plot.

Oh boo, I've fallen behind again. Need to watch these episodes.

@avclub-8185bd5b4a127940d1717ad13dfb1ea7:disqus Most DVRs can only record two programs at once. If New Girl is starting at 8:58, the DVR won't allow a second recording from 8:30-9 or 8-9, or will miss the start of New Girl.

Yeah, the arcade stick surprised me. Though I remember I did do something similar, when I got a stick like that for Christmas. I tried it for a week or two then went back to the regular controller.

Thanks for the heads-up. Looking forward to watching the rest.

Yes. Though it's half-over already, so it might be worth waiting. If they have the same deal as Top of the Lake, it'll go straight on to Netflix once it's done.

No, I think they're just being dicks to people who use DVRs.

I'm not sure if you've mentioned it, but if people want Soderbergh, he's writing a novella via the medium of Twitter: http://twitter.com/Bitchuation

And for the rest of the season apparently.

Good TV news: Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon are doing a second series of The Trip. I loved the first run. It's on Hulu if you haven't seen it (or only seen the edited movie version): http://www.hulu.com/the-tri…

I thought she was very good in Take This Waltz, but obviously acting is different to stand-up.

I'm watching, but I'm a good bit behind. The gimmick episodes this season have been awful, like the 9/11 one or the stupid awful Heaven thing.

Ah, I usually save reviews of things I know I'm going to read until I finish them.

Yes. The Borgias is off to a good start too. United States of Tara had a great third season.

It's not perfect, but I do like it. It's definitely improved, but there were some painful moments in the past, especially the sketches.

It was weird to hear Mark make a reference to Jimmy Carr when watching these episodes.

I remember that now. Though I wouldn't say they were the same, Ashes To Ashes really did the "they're all dead and this is purgatory" while Lost just had that for the stupid sideways-verse.
