The second episode only aired in the UK last week, so it's not like PBS have been withholding it.

The main difference between UK and US whodunnits is time. UK ones are usually at least 60 minutes, and often 90-120 minutes for a single case, rather than 39 minutes or however long the network allows.

Anna Maxwell Martin is still Kay from The Night Watch (the lesbians-in-WW2 TV movie from a few years ago) to me. She should really get more work.

Friday's pre-empted Happy Endings were on Hulu most of yesterday. They seem to be still on iTunes, as well as available through other means.

The ending with the Doctor going back to the monster felt rushed, but otherwise I loved it. Best of the four so far for me. Dougray Scott could have been given more to do, but Jessica Raine was great.

Because I have the Amazon preview open already: the original version in the book is "Your smile makes flowers grow and your tits could knock a Rhino sideways."

That one's directly from the book, blame it on Brian McGreevy.

I read the novel a few weeks ago. Some decent characters, and a story with some potential, but the prose was painful, and it has some of the worst similes I've ever read. I actually had to stop reading and just think about what the hell he meant occasionally.

Happy Endings was delayed too, and they only remembered to take them off Hulu a few hours ago.

Sideways was overrated. Good film, but not THAT good.

I'm guessing the algorithm for "Most Read" articles on the sidebar is broken, or there's been a huge surge of interest in MotorStorm and Fall Out Boy in the last day or so.

Yeah, I didn't dislike Betas, it just didn't impress me hugely. I'd certainly watch more of it, and it wasn't bad, at least compared to most comedy pilots.

Okay, that's sort of true, S&H was watchable. It has the terrible animation of Stoker and Hoop, but with much more annoying characters.

Don't feed the Supertrolls.

They even have the typeface from The Newsroom (or a close facsimile thereof).

I've mostly seen all of the shows now.

It'll turn up online when it airs abroad, but otherwise you'll probbly have to wait for the DVD.
