They tuk er jobsss! 'Murica!
Some guy in the show's future: "Arya is the hero the Seven Kingdoms deserve, but not the one they need right now. So they'll hunt her. Because she can take it. Because she's not their hero. She's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. Er…..she might be, if she's even alive, which I doubt. Heck, I forgot what…
Today I rewatched, and it looked like the Hound was really shredding his hands. If he had dispatched Brienne, there would nevertheless have been many days of "that effing c—-t has maimed my hands and I can't defend myself! I can't even wipe my arse!" He was bound to die of that infected bite which he wouldn't let…
I had to look up the meaning of "throwing shade"—and you're right, he surely would.
Things I want to happen next season that might not:
—Yara gets some really awesome fight scenes.
—Varys has a philosophical conversation with Tyrion, maybe about how hard it is to come by some good lovin' in this crazy ole world—while they're BOTH DRUNK.
—Sexy, sexy Jaqen H'ghar shows up, wearing that sexy, sexy Tom…
As a non-bookreader who spoiled myself for Lady Stoneheart by looking at the Wiki articles (I'm a curious cat), I'm absolutely bummed to discover that she has only been in a few pages so far. If Martin doesn't realize how great it would be to have this character in his novel, I must seriously question his priorities. …
That sounds amazing. I really love her accent on the show, didn't know she was from Australia.
Take that back, the most horrible movie starring a "Family Ties" actor was obviously "My Demon Lover"!
When Medea Met Michael. It was a huge box office smash, people forget that.
Everybody Hates Larry should be a spin-off. Sample dialogue:
"Larry, you entitled, privileged, spoiled child, once again you have taken your cushy lifestyle for granted!"
Morello had some kind of mental illness (schizoaffective disorder possibly?) that tends to have an onset in young adulthood, just unfortunate brain chemistry. Personally, I don't see how she seemingly never spent much time in psych ("Not PSYCH!")
The beginning of her flashback was hilarious. I thought I'd like to watch a whole movie about that girl…then it turned dark of course.
I prefer this show over Louie, which is great, and Hannibal, which I found a little too scattered in terms of character motivation and a lot too heavy on surreal special effects and abrasive soundtrack. It's just great to see a show that's so sincere and based on the real world, and that's fun to watch to boot.
Ah, yeah! And I just came back here to mention it.
Holy smokes, I can't believe I forgot Tom Waits' Frank's Wild Years. It's a concept album, after a fashion, as it's all about the adventures of that one character. (And me with a Tom Waits avatar. Geez.)
You win. That would be tedious, all right. Sam is like…a wizard!
Good point, but it's just that last week he was so distraught about Gilly and was beating himself up. Maybe it's just me, but he seems to have become amazingly competent and self-confident overnight.
It works, thank you! Turns out he's kinda handsome, too.
The Wall. So many awesome songs. And hideous, amazing artwork within the album cover—as a kid I used to take my brother's record down and peek at it and give myself the creeps.
Oooh, rich people got nothing important to say, they might as well stop being creative because they're rich! Why can't they be more like Van Gogh and deliberately lead an impoverished life? I want them to suffer for their art, otherwise it isn't legit art!
