Is that why her hair plugs look so unnatural?

Huh? This article makes sense to me, but if that's truly what she wrote about the figure skating…wow. She did annoy me by focussing on the way the "upstairs" characters on Downton Abbey had more privileges than their staff and thus were immoral somehow. (Sorry about going off-topic…)

Viola?

There was plenty of harrowing violence in "Antichrist," though I don't know that I'd call it CHEAP exploitation. Some form of it, maybe?

It's the ending credits of this movie that are the only thing that I find off-putting and weirdly accusatory of this country. The harsh photos of the disadvantaged and "Young Americans" playing merrily along.

Texas. Wow, those mispronunciations must be more common that I thought!

Oh, I meant "how can Alana compete with Will?" Because I am amused by the twinkle Will puts in Hannibal's eyes, is all.
I'm thinking Alana just might be better off having more "me" time…

It had the grossest creatures and makeup of them all! I feel too squeamish to rewatch.

I thought of Equus too, with the hooded horses. Of course, hoods were a gentle substitute for what happened to THOSE horses (I'm only familiar with the Richard Burton film version) so it's a sorta vague connection.

Was that a metal band around the neck of her blouse? Like a shiny metal collar thing? Or were my eyes deceiving me?

How can Alana ever compete?

I would cast Martin Freeman as the lead in my movie about Charlie Brown in his 40s.

Or the review and the reviewer. Yes, I just said something passive aggressive about another AVC writer. I'm not proud of myself.

I'm glad he didn't mention the dirty fork. "Oh it makes me MAD!"

And he's aged very nicely.

Wow, kinda harsh review. Am I simply too unenlightened, that I don't care if a show has more white men in it than women, if I like that show? And anyway, Allison Tolman is obviously going to carry a lot of the plot here. She seems very good, and appealing in a way a that a woman like me seldom sees on TV. I get so

I think "Barton Fink" might be interesting as a show. The dark comedy and creepiness of trying to succeed in old Hollywood.

Ah! See, that's what I've been wondering, if they really do speak like that. But then, I live in a state where people often say "Tuesdy" rather than Tuesday, "libary" rather than "library."

The accent was so over-the-top, for me. I didn't think, "He's doing a poor job with this accent," I thought, "Who the hell talks this way?" But to be fair, I often think that when I watch the movie Fargo.

While watching this, I found Billy Bob Thornton extremely attractive. Is that a bad sign?
