Are you referring to the Sehlat?  (I didn't even have to look that up!)

Speaking of DS9, I love love love the episode 'Children of Time'.

Yeah, the Temporal Cold War petered out.  On the plus side, when they handed the reigns over to Manny Coto at the beginning of Season 4, he definitively ended the TCW plot so as to concentrate on what he wanted to do; namely, reference the other Star Trek series a lot.  It sounds lame when I put it like that, I guess,

I can't agree.  I found the action scenes gratuitous; not in the service of the story at all.  As it turns out, pretty much everything we see in Endgame is retconned in the same episode, so there's no resolution to anything.  Just to take my most frustrating example: what happened to the Maquis?  Were they all hanged

Wow.  The anonymous interviewer is getting pretty testy with ol' Rick.  I do hope that negotiations don't break down as we near the end.

May the Force be with you!

Zack,

In my view, Mr. Plinkett put his finger on the major problem of Nemesis.  None of the cast looks happy to be there.  They all seem tired and unhappy thoughout, and that they realize they're beating a dead horse.  Damnit, Star Trek is about joy!

Daddy wanted him to be a Starfleet officer, and Jake had no interest in doing that.  Eventually Dad accepted his decision to become a journalist/author.

While there are many witty comments on these boards, very few make me chuckle out loud.  You, sir, are one of them.

Great scene.

I actually know the answer to this.  I wouldn't call it stealing, per se, but the Jaws theme is actually a very slowed down version of one of the opening numbers of George Gershwin's 'Porgy and Bess'.

Saying "if you've seen 'Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever'" demands an awful lot from your fellow commenters.  I'm willing to just take your word for it.

Ugh.

This is the first comment on this thread that has not been, and shall not be, removed.

You stole it from J. Michael Straczinski, who frequently used that phrase to refer to the speed of the ships in Babylon 5.

On that note, when are we going to get the Star Wars Holiday Special?

Kelsey Grammar.

Particularly since Bill the Cat was already available, and it would be considerably more appropriate to the character.

I'm liking this post, not as a result of its content, but because I admire your avatar and name.
