When I started reading these analyses, I was surprised at how many people on here thought that DS9 was the best series.  I thought I was the one of the few.  Instead, it seems to be something of a consensus opinion (with a few notable exceptions.)

Spock was not the template for most Vulcans; he was the exception.  I found many, many Vulcans portrayed throughout the franchise exuded sarcasm and self-righteousness.  I think the guy from Lower Decks was considerably closer to the 'norm' than Spock was.

I entirely agree.  I didn't really understand the complaint from Enterprise that it portrayed the Vulcans as jerks; for one thing, a great deal of Vulcan's suspicions of humanity were justified.  For another, many Vulcans had been portrayed as arrogant jerks throughout the series who put on a show of logic to cover up

As I mentioned above (just now), it is my understanding that Meyer wanted to do just that, but Roddenberry vetoed.

Heck, no need to overthink why Praxis blew up.  It's just a plot device to get the movie going.

Humph.  I preferred the 1999 model.

I'm an Enterprise defender, but I will freely admit that T'Pol had problems.  I think the arc in the third and fourth season with Trip did a lot to ameliorate them, though.

I don't get why people like Saavik 1.0 so much, or either of the two Saaviks.  She really doesn't get much to do in any of her three appearances.  Other than the Kobiyashi Maru scene, Star Trek II (and the franchise as a whole) just kind of forgets about her.

The Mongols pulled it off.

Also, since a century has lapsed between Star Trek VI and the TNG/DS9 events, one can speculate about ample means by which the Klingon Empire has gotten back on its feet.  Maybe they found a new Praxis?

Braga has admitted for years that 'Threshold' is a royal stinker, and in fact there's even a special feature in that vein on the Season Two Voyager DVD box set.

*Sniff* This is the greatest day of my life.

That's the one.  I don't know why Spock didn't have they asses busted for insubordination when they got back to the ship.

Even as a little kid, I thought the Coyote and Roadrunner segments on Looney Toons were unwatchably repetitive.

No way.  It would have to be 'Today's Special'.

I think you'd get pretty tired and dizzy pretty quick.  You'd be out of luck if the battle lasted more than, say, a half hour.

Threeway with Kirstie Alley?

Not at the behest of First Officer Cdr. Kieran MacDuff, though.

And here's another scene with it!

You're in luck!  It's on Youtube!
