Honestly, aside from the hair(because let's be honest, that's all we're really talking about here) that looks like the Governor of the comics to me.

I'm also of the mindset that Linden was under heavy meds when she talked to Holder in the ward.

I really enjoyed the series, but I have to agree with Zack's analysis. The ending of last night's episode only left me with a feeling of, "well… I guess thats it then".

Failsafe in hope that all of the freaks combined might be able to stop the Elder Gods? That's all I could think of. Didn't bother me though.
I'm not sure if it would have been in the section you missed Noel, but there was an excellent scene between Alt-Broyles and Walter that nicely illustrated the parallels between their situations and their relationships with their sons. Good stuff.
No issues like that in my theater. There were darkly lit scenes to be sure, but nothing that felt out of the ordinary or inscrutable.
I only saw about… half of Rubber, but this was a very different movie from the half I saw. Rubber was all about "no reason" while Cabin was all about the reasons(in a good way).
I was underwhelmed by Scream, but I didn't dilike it. However I also saw it long after it was released, so it wasn't exactly as contemporary of an experience as it could have been.
As a Kemper fan myself, I can see why this would disappoint, however, the redhead who IS in the movie (Kristen Connolly http://www.imdb.com/name/nm… ) is quite fetching in her own right.
I rather enjoyed the first episode and liked the second episode even more. I think I'll be sticking with this show for the foreseeable future(if for nothing else than more "JVDB as Indiana Jones" sight gags; seriously, it was uncanny).
Did Krazy 8 lose some weight? It's been a while since I've seen that season of Breaking Bad, but I remember him being… thicker, not fat, just thicker.
that was my thought as well. Both exist there, but only the type of people who would actually know M.A.N.T.I.S. in our universe are the type of people who would know Batman in theirs.
I'm mostly just excited that both Mastodon and Dream Theater were nominated. :) (although it's in the same category as the Foo fighters… so that's a little weird.)
It's actually a b-side from Blood Mountain I believe.

Oh…
For some reason when I read the headline I thought Nolte was talking about the new-magazine program 48 Hours…
