Slikworm pupae aren't bad - just kind of crunchy and surprisingly fatty. Cicadas, too, although they're less fatty. Basically almost nothing but protein in some sauce.

I fucking hate those things. My wife's all over them, but… eugh.

Actually I'm not getting the taken thing either. "My views are taken seriously" sounds fine to me.

I like the cut of eufufirjir's jib.

How long does it take you to write these? Damn, I love them all.

I just wiki-ed it and damn, that guy is a fucking lunatic.

Dude, we've all seen his grandmother naked.

DON'T CONFUSE ME WITH YOUR SO-CALLED "FACTS"!

I dunno, what's the 30-year average increase in gas prices? I'd bet it's kind of a similar process of slowly gouging the consumer more and more.

Well, you know, maybe you should follow the signs the universe is clearly giving you. I mean, can tens of thousands of dollars a month for working from home be a bad thing?

I'll send you my credit card details forthwith.

How are you being stalked? I flag them whenever I see them as well, but it's not like they know who's doing that…

Heh, didn't look at the time stamp, and then I scrolled down a few more comments and found my own old comment as well. Fucking recyclers!

Yeah ok that makes sense, because I know a few people there and they've never once referred to it as Cal in my presence (presumably because they know I'd be like "eh?"), but they'd all be grads or postdocs or profs.

Well… people living in America who either know the university VERY well or watch college football. Which, yeah, is actually pretty select, given that that excludes the majority of academics, for instance. I mean seriously, I work in an academic field and I know people at Berkeley and I read their papers all the time,

Holy shit it's a fucking time machine.

Eh, is Disqus fucking up or is this somehow a reply to Fresh Jive talking about the Spin Doctors?

I have never watched a college sports game. No one outside the States does.

Well… you can get a lot out of the fact that T-Rex's had forward-pointing eyes, which means their fields of view overlap, which means they could have had stereopsis. But in general, point taken.

Yeah ok you're right about that. Trying to think of a non-writing director who makes better script choices and no one's coming to mind, and even if someone does he's not doing too badly.
