His facial features seem to have remained the same size while the rest of his head got bigger. Like a bad photoshooping.

As someone who frequently makes blanket statements about groups of people, I resent this. I'm a good guy.

RHCP is one of those bands I liked a lot when I was much younger and probably should have outgrown, but I still end up getting their albums, purging the ubiquitous "wakka-wakka-California" singles, and enjoying the hell out of the "filler" tracks.

Favorites of this year:

Isn't this the guy who tried to kick Carlos Santana out of Santana?

"Comfortably Numb" has some of the best lead guitar work ever and I hate classic rock radio for playing that song so often that you're guaranteed to hear it two or three times every day at work, thus making it so much harder to enjoy and appreciate.

Glad someone picked Hard Day's Night. It's my favorite Harrison solo and he played it on a fucking Rickenbacker 12-string. Also:
"8 Miles High" by the Byrds (another 12-string solo, only this one is delightfully noisy and noodly)
"What It Is" by Mark Knopfler (or any of his solos really)
"Wet Sand" by RHCP (Frusciante

This band is like getting a lazy handjob from Bob Seger. A lot of their songs seem to be building up to an almost-hook, but then they drop off and flap around directionless-ly instead of ever getting you there.
