Luckily, I have the finale of Veep to watch tonight, or I would be in the same boat.

His look of astonishment was hilarious. I love how that shot seemed to hold for a second or so longer than you think it should have.

I was watching with closed captioning on, as we were doing laundry and the dryer is quite loud. The child playing Suzanne was referred to as "Young Crazy Eyes". One of the most perfect instances of something being very funny and deeply sad at the same time.

Orange is the new bok choy.

He was actually up all night in the library reading old Nintendo Power scrolls.

*Jon Snow cradles a dying Ygritte*
*Olley nods in approval, and the world nods with him*

I was just commenting below that one of my single favorite songs comes from that album. Also, not to be too pedantic, but doesn't "The Name of this Band is Talking Heads" have two different line-ups on it?

If I use "the one I've listened to the most" as the deciding metric - the honor go to the live version of "The Book I Read".

I like how I can't go a few days on the internet without seeing someone link that concert. It's just so good.

Seriously, the Stop Making Sense version of this band was unstoppable. Well, I guess that's not technically true.

That editing was a real eyesore.

Frank Zappa quote, and a really lame one at that.

It's where we keep all the print media! Zing!

The fucking Eagles, man.

I got a counter-offer 3 months after I turned down the initial offer. Weird shit happens. Also, universities have notoriously slow HR processes. Hang in there.

I've got a friend from out-of-town visiting my GF and I. It's the city's big bike race event this weekend (a truly weird experience). It's gonna be fun.

I just found out my old employer (who I left on good terms) has a position open that is much more in line with what I want to do (and would be about 1,000% less stressful). Think I'm gonna have to make a phone call today.

The best thing about my job is that I have a office on the "dead" side of the building (so no one bothers me), with a great view of downtown. But everything else sucks.

Plus your car would be damaged.
