If I remember correctly, the final boss fight was a lot like Mega Man fights. Each form had a secret "weakness" to an item. Also, the northern area of the map had some of my favorite music of any video game.

Interestingly enough, I almost went there for my bachelors. Couldn't afford it, had to go the in-state route.
