Hard to understand?
Does anybody have a hard time understanding a lot of the dialogue in this show? I can understand The Wire and The Office UK just fine, but I find myself resorting to closed captioning on this show…

I saw it this year too
I saw this movie in 2009 for, as far as I could tell, the first time in my life (although I recall a few scenes from my childhood), born in 84. My reaction was quite different than yours. I was kicking myself for not watching it earlier. I felt angry that nobody told me how good the movie was.…

I agree with the guy that disagreed. It is the Family Guy effect: have a character say "It's better than that time we…", and then cut away to a scene depicting it word for word. "It's better than him sitting at home making audition tapes for Deal Or No Deal"; there he is, acting it out.

She is funny in sketch comedy and web videos, but all the characters she plays in films and TV end up being generally bland. Clever and smart and overwhelmingly nice, but never the one being funny in a scene.

I didn't even know that show got renewed. Super excited now!

I think Harry might be the worst part about this season. He is literally everywhere now, pretty much acting like the stereotypical black person at a horror movie screaming "he's right behind you turn around!"

This show was created to showcase Eliza Dushku. It was written for her, it was paid for by Fox to explore her talents. It's a shame that she ended up being so bland, but they'll probably keep popping her into low cut tops so viewers don't lose too much interest.

What is a full season?
What exactly constitutes a full season? Parks and Recreation season 2 has always been scheduled as being 13 episodes, which seemed pretty much perfect. Does this mean they're writing another 13 episodes to air next year?

This episode is exactly what I don't like about The Office. I wish so badly that the show never made Jim and Pam get together. I could watch a hundred more season 2s, but this show is turning into nothing more than a romantic comedy. At least Parks and Recreation is getting good!
