as parents you HAVE to watch cartoons (or at least tolerate them peripherally) almost constantly.
 and if your blessed/cursed with a dvr you'll wind up watching the same ones over and over again,and there's only so many shows you can let a small child watch ,my daughters 4 and of all the "age appropriate" shows…
