I'm a very infrequent commenter, but can we please lay off the social justice warrior narrative here? I'm Mexican myself, and to suggest that there's no evidence that Mexican culture would somehow result in Mexicans being more willing to live amongst the dead is so factually absurd I don't even know where to begin.

I would argue that you don't find the implausibility of Breaking Bad distracting because you aren't aware of how wildly implausible it is. Pretty much every major plot point this past season (the prison assassinations, an Anglo boy being killed on Navajo reservation with no consequences, destruction of APD evidence
