And I would still say the level of humor on Happy Endings is enough to supercede any of its flaws. It has its moments of emotional depth, but even if they fall flat, there's fifty amazing jokes right around the corner, catapulting the show into the comedy stratosphere.

How I Met Your Mother's "proposal" episode between Robin and Barney was terrible. And I don't think you get the point of HE if you need to be emotionally invested. It's the funniest show on TV, so who cares?
