Just finished rereading David Wong's John Dies At The End (after tearing through the new sequel This Book Is Full Of Spiders in a weekend) and Paul Neilan's Apathy And Other Small Victories. Now I'm back to reading new (to me) stuff, starting with John Scalzi's Redshirts: A Novel With Three Codas, Mira Grant's Feed,

He has an attractive sister.

Robert C. O'Brien's "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh." I read it because I loved the movie, and the book was so much better.

I'm mostly dead inside, but Dear Zachary still gets me every single time.

"The Greatest Song I Ever Heard," by OK Go. They namedrop Cat Power, Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, and some other artists.

Stillwater
Maybe I missed it, but have this really gone to 6 pages of comments without someone wanting a full album from "Almost Famous"'s Stillwater? The collector's DVD had a 6-track EP of songs used in the film, and it only makes me want more.

L7 is only tangentially related to the genre, being as how they were loud and female. They really belong more in the female fronted grunge-pop movement that was starting up along the west coast in the late-80's early-90's, along with The Pandoras, Babes in Toyland, 7 Year Bitch and The Muffs.

They could do a show about the NY Mets and call it The Real Walking Dead.

There's an Altoona here in Iowa, too. I'm sure ours would have done it for far less money.

Noel, if you really loved "Hard Eight," you'd know not to call it "Hard Eight."

I see your Eddie Murphy Sideways Career, and I raise you one Cuba Gooding Jr.

Someone should make a movie about snakes on a plane and call it The Negotiator.

An explanation

This leaves behind some empty space in the frame, which they then have to fill in by essentially photoshopping in a faked background. When

Aronofsky horror film
Darren Aronofsky was going to do an underwater horror film called "Proteus" before he ended up doing "Requiem for a Dream." "Proteus" ended up being redeveloped into the haunted submarine film "Below," directed by David Twohy. I would have liked to have seen what Aronofsky would have done with

5 is the lest of the seaons for 2 main reasons, as far as I can tell:

I'm in the process of rewatching the series, and I'm on S2 right now. It's much better than I remember it being.

"Killer Klowns from Outer Space" by The Dickies. Classic.

It's sad…
…but the first role that pops into my head when I think of him is The Ripper from "Last Action Hero."
