I've had glasses since I was 3, so I've never had the leaf epiphany. If one day I get contacts or surgery, I guess I can have some kind of epiphany during an activity I don't wear glasses for, like roller coasters or something.

You know what, I saw that on TV as a kid and didn't realize until much later that it was originally in 3D. And yes, it looked absolutely absurd.

If it's a Mad Max apocalypse, you need high school sports equipment, black spray paint, and a badass car or motorcycle. Also, a Geiger counter. If it's a Waterworld apocalypse, you need dirt, paper, and the ability to evolve gills somehow. What do you need for an Ice Age apocalypse?

He actually never makes it out of the basement. And he realizes he's in mirror world when everything is backwards (writing, etc), and nobody responds to him. I agree with Josh that that part was somewhat cool, and totally unearned.
