I met Michael Penn too, before a show, while he was outside smoking a cigarette. Super nice guy.

My friends hate me
Because I incessantly (incessantly!) tell the story about how I met Fred Savage at a party in 1998. My friend had a friend who was working on a play featuring Savage and Dan Lauria (the dad from The Wonder Years), and invited me to the party. I didn't want to hassle him, so I pretended not to know

Nick Danger - I agree, Red Dirt Girl is awesome. Not as good as Wrecking Ball, but it has some great songs. Even though not all the records have been good, I've really enjoyed her Nonesuch career.

Bubble Bobble: Bubbles Away!, starring Kenan Thompson and Skeet Ulrich.

That VHS got me through college also, Dawson. I was a fan of the show in high school, and I thought Skits and Stickers was a pretty good representation of the show. I hope they got to keep most of the music rights, especially "Cannonball" for the pants sketch.
And this means I can watch the monkey torture sketch

Looks like someone's trying to double his orphans.

What's that?
J.J. Abrams is playing the part of Khan in the next Star Trek movie? You read it here first!

Are people still reading these comments?
Oh well. I'm going to say Never Better, by P.O.S. The record came out in February, and I've listened to in tons of times since then. It really is incredible. Minneapolis!

You know, I saw Bolt this weekend, babysitting. It's really not too bad. Though explaining the plot ("See, the DOG thinks it's real life, but everyone else knows it's just a TV SHOW, but no one wants to tell him the truth, and he's trying to get back to his owner, who is also his owner on the TV SHOW") … that didn't

Condorman?!? WTF!?

Wow: yes, yes and yes. Those cases had razor edges that would slice your pre-pubescent hands. And The Watcher In The Woods is a movie that regularly scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. I watched it again recently, and it elicited the same reaction.

Carroll Spinney, aka Big Bird and Oscar The Grouch, went to my high school. Also, Steve Carell is from my hometown, but went to private school. ELITIST

There's also a Dick Wolf reference, because… why not?

I LOVE THIS ALBUM
That is all.

In my mind, tied with 30 Rock as the best show on TV. Season 2 has its problems, but even those ridiculous plotlines (and they are SO ridiculous) are handled pretty well, especially in the performances. And season 3 is awesome so far.

Oh man, Little Joy is great. Check out their new (and only) record. It's self-titled.

The reason
It's not on Target.com because all of their CDs and DVDs are sold through Amazon. So since it's not technically available at Amazon, Target.com won't have it. But you'd think they'd at least tell you at which Target store you can find it.

Hooray!
Glad to hear it wasn't a bust, anyway. I was afraid of it being a total flop.

Aw, Juliana Hatfield
That's all.

Bastards
I was supposed to get The Wire Season 5 on Thursday. Instead, I read, performed music, and went out for ice cream. I mean, what are they trying to do to me?
