I know what he's talking about, and that's why I always kind of liked the character of Susan… she clearly didn't belong in the group. It was an interesting dynamic.
Strongly dissent. I don't think listening to vocals-only shows that Paul's vocals continue into the ahhhs… it was 4-track, so everything was bounced down repeatedly. Also, the vocal has the same delay as all of John's vocals on the track. Also, it's John's voice.
Was he listening to the music as he sang? I pondered that through the entire thing and was unable to come to a conclusion. I don't know the source song so that didn't help. If someone could shed some light on this, I can go about my day.
