When Penny walked in on them having dinner I thought it would be hilarious if she said "what…is that Billy Bob Thornton?!"

"This is tighter than a Temple Grandin hug" - that came out of nowhere
4 straight C+'s? That's gotta be some kinda of worthless record
The Department of Homeland Security can detain people for supposedly filming movies in theaters!?
I've been rewatching the Birthday Boys first season and it is just absolutely one of the funniest things on television. The high energy absurdity without the raunchiness or dark humor that can plague other sketch shows is just fantastic. High production values and spot-on parodies. Looking forward to the second season.
Knile Davis weeks 2-4 scored 22.5, 18.2, and 11.9 points. Sure, he's irrelevant now but if you knew that going into the season those 3 weeks alone would warrant a pretty decently high draft (7th/8th round) pick.
So you got the Birthday Boys here but no coverage or previous mention of their second season starting? The premiere was frickin' hilarious, looking forward to the rest of it. I think it's good enough to warrant weekly reviews.
I like that they are not shying away from some of the slightly raunchier jokes now - in the past I feel like they have tried too hard to be family friendly and the show was too tame. Looking forward to more Steve Zahn.
Noticed in the credits that the bartender was played by legendary voice actor John DiMaggio - that "GET OOOUTT!" had a Bender-ish tinge to it
This is the nerd in me, but I like how they are drawing in more accurate information about actual fantasy football into this season more than in the past. The re-draft and selecting Knile Davis above Doug Martin I thought was great (I got Martin and Zac Stacy in the 2nd and 3rd rounds…womp womp), and then I was able…
This was everything you hope for from a League episode. Funny, plotlines tie somewhat well together, plenty of good one-liners, nothing enlightening but a fun half hour of television for sure. After watching I thought was there anything egregiously offensive that would give it a C+ grade (the go-to for "bad"…
Andre's line about his nose - it's like I'm bleeding once a month!
You have no idea how many times per week someone says to me, "Sir, can you please calm down and stop shouting?"
Bernadette is so fucking annoying with the money, acting like she is so high and mighty. She was working at a university and then sold herself out to work at big pharma, and she acts like she has the superior job just cuz she makes more money.
That ending reminded me a lot of the Game of Thrones ending where Jamie was kidnapped in the woods and the last shot of the episode is him losing his hand.
I know it wasn't anything personal that they were eating him, but I thought it was a little bit racist
I lost it when one of the classes in hell was "Keeping the Yankees in First Place"
I take it you are over in the UK? If so I bet the only US beers you regularly see are Budweiser, Coors, Blue Moon, and the like. Which yes, are cat piss. Maybe a Sam Adams if you're lucky, which is still pretty meh. Likewise, the majority of imports we see in the US are shit beers - Guinness (which I'll hold off my…
In a related story, the creators of Friends have filed a lawsuit against New Girl, How I Met Your Mother, Whitney, and every other show with the premise of young people hanging out and fucking each other.
So now AV Club is posting Buzzfeed articles?!? Fuck you, internet.
