And we're all going straight to hell!!!
And we're all going straight to hell!!!
I did the same thing, I bought season 1 on DVD b/c I had the first two episodes on tape and I watched them over and over again. The rest of it just didn't seem that funny. I eventually got rid of it.
Grandpa, what were trees like was it like before the internet?
Homey the Clown, Fire Marshall Bill, and Damon Wayans' homeless guy are/were funny, but most of the sketches on this show haven't aged well. And the blues guitar guy who always said 'thank you very much' and the gossip lady weren't very funny.
Ha ha yes, Boognish would be proud.
Melvins! That's who I was thinking of for 'Call Me', I couldn't remember who it reminded me of.
I saw Xiu Xiu live, opening for Swans. It was pretty intense, like watching a guy in therapy, confess all his problems with the audience playing the psychologist.
I watched this again not too long ago. It's pretty good. That gargoyle is creepy, so is the mummy. I like the scene in the first story where the Mummy pulls a guy's brain out with a coat hanger.
This is actually one of my favorite songs ever. I love how simple it is, the snyths, the harmonies ('I said Pleeeeeeeeaseā¦"), the repetition of phrases, all of it just somehow works to create a great pop song.
Two questions. Anyone here a fan of Swans? And, don't you think Michael Gira looks a lot like the Cowboy in this movie?
My brother was a big RATM fan and for his birthday (or Christmas) I got him that VHS tape as well.
Yep. (SPOILER ALERT!)
Yea, I remember Fox used to rerun episodes, I recorded 'The Third Pig' off of it. The massacre of the wolf killing the pigs was cut out.
That one's pretty good, aside from the comely stars, it has a creepy ending which helps.
Plus, the very pretty Cynthia Gibb.
I remember first seeing that episode, and laughing so hard at his 'secret', like, "oh yeah, he's gonna get 'em now!"
You forgot to mention Teri Hatcher in a swimsuit and lingerie.
'Cutting Cards' is probably my favorite episode of the whole series, I love the acting, and the ending is pretty funny.
*moves checker with nose*
It's funny, when I first saw the name 'R.Dean Taylor', I thought of R.B. Greaves, who did, "Take A Letter, Maria", which also used to get airplay on the oldies stations I listened to as a kid.
First person: "I went to the store to buy a loaf of bread."
Third person: "She went to the store to buy a loaf of bread."
