I'm scared

I think cilantro is great, but yeah, I've heard the 'it tastes like soap' excuse before too.

That Q+A they had a couple of Fridays ago, on artists you can't get into even though you know they're good, Joanna Newsom was my choice. I have several friends who think she is the greatest, and I just cannot get into her - part of it is her voice. I listened to Ys and part of Have One on Me, and nothing stuck. Having

There's a book out there called The One: The Life and Music of James Brown, which is excellent, it does a great job at covering his life and amazing live performances (there's a whole chapter called 'The Cape'). I read most of it on a train ride, I recommend it for anyone who's interested in the Godfather of Soul.

When I saw the picture above, I was like, "is that Kristen Wiig? And the dude from TV on the Radio?" I was right!

That Cannon documentary looks pretty interesting, and Mulaney is funny, so I'll probably watch those. But really, all I want are just more streaming episodes of Intervention and Hoarders. And Good Eats.

I'll echo most everyone's sentiments here and say this is a great album, I was 19 when it came out so I was the perfect age for it. I had a SP t-shirt with a red star on the front and the words 'just say maybe' on the back. I went to see them on the tour for this album, unfortunately, it was after they fired

"Hey Captain, I got your key. And I hope you're hungry….cause I'm gonna feed it to you."

Any Jens Lekman fans here? I like those Rocky Dennis songs on Oh You're So Silent Jens.

My Mom is a Clinical Nurse Practitioner, and has worked with doctors who fix kids who have craniosynostosis, hydrocephalis, etc. She said that Cher went to a camp that had kids who had Rocky Dennis' condition, and that she stayed for several days and talked to the kids. She didn't just pop in to make an appearance and

I remember buying Jewel's Pieces of You on vinyl because I liked the hits and it had, like, 5 bonus tracks on it. I never played it.

'Fore that sun goes down

I like Play, but I like Everything is Wrong even more.

Paul McCartney. He's respected by old and young people, written so many timeless rock 'n roll songs, and can sell out basically any place he plays. Also, he seems like a genuinely nice guy.

I remember Michael Caine's acceptance speech - he won that year for 'The Cider House Rules' - and how he joked that Tom's salary would have gone down if he had won, "you know how much supporting actors make?"

I bought the Magnolia soundtrack b/c I really enjoyed the movie, and wow, it is great. If you don't have a physical copy, PTA writes a few paragraphs of liner notes in the insert, saying, "I sat down to write an adaptation of Aimee Mann songs." He also admits that he did not write the line "now that we've met, would

SARAH, SIT!!!

'Deathly' is my favorite. Love how she draws out the word: "Deaaaaaaaathly."

I remember that Heathcliff theme song, I don't think I understood half of the lyrics. "So join in the jubilee/The cat's inferiority(?)".

She scuba dives? I like her even more now.
