I can see that, I think they're all great musicians, the problem is they extended most of their songs, and all the jamming sounded the same.

That Fiona Apple version of Extraordinary Machine that Jon Brion produced was widely circulated, if I remember correctly. I think the story was the label scrapped it because it didn't sound 'commercial' enough (even though he produced her previous album, which sold pretty well!).
WEST VIRGINIA, YOU PROVED THEM WRONG!
Tom Waits did VH1 Storytellers? I didn't know that. I have a bootleg of R.E.M.'s Storytellers episode, it's pretty great.
I like about a dozen DMB songs, but they put on a boring live show.
It's a good album, but it's too long. It could've easily fit on one CD if they had cut out some stuff. Did 'Supersymmetry' need to be 10 freaking minutes long?!? Did we need a 'Here Comes the Night Time' reprise?!?
Locust Abortion Technician is so great.
I first saw NoES 2 as a kid, and I assumed the tying up and spanking with towels was kind of like a cat playing with a mouse before being killed.
I really like the scene where Jesse transforms into Freddy, that's some cool old-fashioned special effects. Plus, the 'you've got the body, I've got the brain' scene and Jesse screaming is funny.
I put that on a Halloween comp I made a few years ago, back-to-back with The Geto Boys' 'Chuckie'.
I agree, she and Sarsgaard were the best parts of that Lovelace movie.
I remember that one! Wasn't it about sharing, or something?
I actually remember the animated series as a kid in the 80's. Specifically, the episodes where Sister Bear is upset because the boys built a clubhouse that says 'No Girls Allowed', and the one where Papa Bear is attached to a kite (don't remember why) and they're driving to keep him in the air. They can't slow down or…
I liked Hostel as well, mostly because it got me to care about Jay Hernandez's character. The opposite was true of the Saw movies (I only watched the first 2), I didn't care whether or not any of the characters lived or died.
Martyrs is one of the hardest movies I've ever sat through. I only checked it out after the…
Not sure if this fits under the definition…
There's an SNL sketch, it's when Kyle McLachlan hosted the show in the early 90's, and they did a Twin Peaks parody. The joke is that Leo (played by Chris Farley) has confessed to the murder of Laura Palmer, but Cooper remains unconvinced. Kevin Nealon plays the sheriff.…
I agree, this is why I stick to scuba diving.
'Birth Ritual' (from that same soundtrack) is also great.
The solo on 'Superunknown' is one of my favorites ever.
I saw Cornell years ago, when he was singing stuff from everything he's been a part of (Soundgarden, TotD, Audioslave), and it was a really good show. He played for over 2 hours and his voice sounded strong throughout the whole thing.
I wear earplugs at every show I go to, unless it's like a solo acoustic performance. And the ringing isn't very strong and I only hear it when I'm trying to fall asleep that night.
